Documentation of #consensualvoyeurism (in the Gig Economy Show at Boston Center for the Arts). This piece also included a tinder performance as "Consensual Voyeurism" - I instructed those swiping that I am an art installation, where I'm located, and invited them to come search me @ the opening. Close-up of my "depression sucks" rug, with a fresh bleed. And of my emoji sext prints - made by taking actual text/sext convos and reducing them to only their emoji vestiges. This was the first time. used Tinder for an art project (really leaned into the lurker/voyeur) - some people actually showed up to the opening after matching with my installation (it also had a FB account that quickly got shut down). There was an interactive sound component on the pink iPad, where people were directed to invade my personal playlists (made by myself, lovers and friends). In this ongoing series I welcome the invasion of my data in physicalized form. Data in this installation includes: Instagram, Text, Facebook, Spotify, Notes (app) and Snapchat.
