​#searchme, one of the performances in #fromurltoirl, in which I became a personal search engine for my own private Facebook messages. I welcomed individuals into my bedroom (and to sit in a chair across from me) and then invited them to "search me". I asked them to choose a keyword/phrase to query and then read them back the results (while protecting the privacy of the party to the PM) - snippets of my digital conversations containing that word. This performance was juxtaposed next to a room containing my entire FB archive (aside from my PMs). A sampling of queries: "curtain", "I love you", "god", "privacy", "medication", "red", town", "dildos", "why", "depression", "green". I have since done this performance in various iterations in other places including @ Allston Living Room & @ Flux Factory.
